This powder exfoliates nicely and gently - it can go as rough or soft as you want pending how much powder you use. I have large pores so prefer to use more than less to get deep into those craters! It’s gentle and doesn’t irritate or leave skin dry and raw. It works to get into the pores and has a soft clean fragrance. It doesn’t take much, maybe a dime size for gentle and nickel for deep cleaning. Overall, it’s a great quality for how much you get and you get to determine how your experience will be!

Overall, I really like this enzymatic cleansing powder. It differs slightly from traditional facial cleansers, so it took me a little while to get used to it. The powder produces very little lather; so, if you are accustomed to "soapy" products, the sensation might feel unfamiliar at first—you might even find yourself using a bit more powder just to feel like there is enough product on your face.
Nevertheless, I really love how my skin feels after washing. My face feels clean, smooth, and fresh—without any dryness or tightness. The product provides gentle exfoliation, and over time, my skin looks noticeably more radiant and even-toned.
I particularly appreciate how quickly and easily the powder rinses off compared to standard cleansers: it leaves absolutely no residue, and there is no need to spend a long time washing away product remnants. It has no unpleasant chemical smell.
All in all, this is a gentle yet effective cleanser. It differs from the gels or foaming washes you might be used to, but once you get accustomed to it, it leaves your skin feeling clean, soft, and comfortable.

This cleanser is super effective with even just a small amount of product. It is gentle on skin but I can still feel the exfoliation from the grains. And all it takes is a bit of water to activate it, so it can be used anywhere.
What I love best about it is how easy it is to travel with this product. Whether for a trip on a plane where they limit how much liquid you can take with you -or simply anywhere - it is lightweight, not a liquid, and not likely to leak. When opening the cap, it delivers the right amount of product, never too much.
Overall, I am really pleased with this cleanser and would highly recommend it!

This review is for Ariege Paris Enzyme Powder Cleanser. This is a white powder that you mix with water get a foam going. It is excellent for travel as it gets around the TSA liquid policy.
It promises gentle exfoliation and it contains pineapple which is known to help with this. It does take some practice to get the right ratio of powder to water to get a consistent foam level so this product lost a star for that. I do like a lot of bubbles but I had to play around with shaking the bottle as there is no measuring device included.
It lathered gently and did not dry out my skin, even with the exfoliation. I would only use this twice a week though.
At a price of $15.00 for 1.76 oz, I think it is an excellent value for the money. I did not experience any skin irritation when using the product.

The formula feels soft once activated and does not irritate my skin at all. There is no noticeable scent which I appreciate especially for something I use regularly. It gives that just washed feeling without leaving my skin tight or uncomfortable.
The bottle is a little smaller than I expected but that actually makes it convenient for travel or throwing into a gym bag. A little goes a long way so I do not feel like it will run out too quickly. I don't have sensitive skin, but I can see how this would be great for people who do. Even still, I found this cleanser to be very functional and effective. Since it's enzymatic, I decided to also leave it on my face for 60 seconds before rinsing. Afterward, my face felt smooth, clean, and hydrated (not stripped or dry).
I think this cleanser is best used in the mornings when you don't have makeup or SPF on, or in the evening as the second part of a double-cleanse. The cleansing component is very light, so I'd take off heavy makeup first, and then use this as an exfoliating treatment.
At the time of this review, this cleanser is $15 which is a great value for money for a foaming rice powder enzyme cleanser. You get 1.7 ounces which should last a good while since you are instructed to use this only 3-4 times per week. This cleanser is effective, high quality, and gentle. I'd recommend all skin types should try it and adjust usage as needed.

I really had to be careful that this did not get all over the place. The inner cap is not sealed and the product is a very fine powder. The product labeling does say not to get it in or around the eyes and to not inhale it.
Aside from the warnings this is a very good foaming cleanser. Surprisingly mild on my sensitive skin. It did not leave any irritations or residue. This did foam up well. I will use this at a frequency of once a week as that is what is suggested.

Powdered cleansers seem to be a new trend, and in my experience, can be a little hit or miss. In the case of this ARIÈGE PARIS enzyme powder cleanser, it's mostly a hit! I think the bottle for this cleanser is a great design. I've had other powdered skincare products that come in containers where you have to unscrew the lid and scoop out some powder, which usually is more time consuming and results in mess. This bottle is easy to pick up, open, and shake out some powder into your hand with minimal to no mess involved, which I appreciate.
The cleanser itself is easy to use, though I wish the instructions were more detailed. It basically just says to moisten your hands, add a "small amount" of powder (not clear enough how much a small amount is), and then lather into a foam. I found that moistening my hands wasn't enough, and I had to add a little extra water to get the powder to mix and dissolve fully. It's easy to mix into a bubbly lather, though I wouldn't really call it "creamy" - maybe I'm not using enough powder to get a creamy result?
It doesn't feel like much when I apply it to my skin. The powder is 99% dissolved, so while there may be a tiny amount of grittiness, it mostly just feels like I'm spreading water on my face. On that point, it means that it doesn't really feel like a cleanser, and as a result, my face doesn't really feel as "clean" as it does with other cleansers. Personally, I prefer to use a different cleanser first to get my skin feeling clean, and then follow up with this to let the enzymes do their work to exfoliate. That works fine by me, but it is frustrating that this can't fully work as a standalone cleanser for me.
As far as exfoliation goes, it does seem to work well, though it's not going to feel as immediately noticeable as a physical exfoliant would. I use this a few times a week as directed and have definitely noticed my skin feeling smoother to the touch and looking brighter and more even.

The ARIÈGE PARIS Enzyme Powder Cleanser is a unique idea. With it being a powder, I can easily take it on my travels without worrying about spillage or TSA liquid checks.
I used it slightly different than the instructions. I placed a small amount of powder in my hand then added a bit of water. What I noticed is it has a scratchy feeling and by adding more water, it created a foamy lather. When I applied the product, it felt cooling and smooth. After rinsing, my skin felt very soft and it shinned a little bit. Since most of the exfoliates, I have used had a gritty feeling, I thought I would try the powder without adding as much water when it felt gritty. Even applying it with that consistency, felt great afterwards! The ingredients are gentle enough to use it either way. The only thing I would have liked is if it had a fragrance. It has no smell at all. And to top it off, it is a good price!

I was drawn to trying this Ariege powder cleanser because its dry formulation is quite a unique concept, at least outside of Korean skincare lines. Without confidently knowing what the "small amount" of powder (per directions for use) constitutes, a thumbnail-sized heap mixed into damp palms seems about right to create a smooth paste. The product itself has zero smell, with a light and gentle consistency that's fine enough not to scour your skin. That said, after smearing it around and rinsing away, I'm not really confident it does much in the way of cleansing or refining the appearance of my face. But, it definitely doesn't irritate my sometimes sensitive skin, nor make it dry or tight, so that's a win in my book.
This is the second Ariege skincare product I've tried: both produce somewhat underwhelming results on my middle-aged face. The premise of it being a French brand--automatically elevating it to seem more luxurious--is the primary marketing appeal, IMO.
